Career Transition and Outplacement support

Baynham Consulting works with and supports individuals who are at a point of transition in their careers, from director level to more junior roles. We can offer support in decision making about the next career step and help with strategies and skills to get there including CV and application support and effective presentation at interview.

Career Transition Support

Support is tailored to individual needs and can cover assistance over a series of months or weeks or just focus on certain elements such as CV development or interview practice. Examples of our work include support to:

  • A Managing Director contemplating whether to stay in her current role or change career direction.
  • A Chief Executive wanting an independent assessment of his CV and support in presenting his skills and experience to optimum effect.
  • A manager experiencing stress and wanting to make a significant career change (he retrained and is now working in a role he really enjoys).
  • A graduate who hadn’t obtained work in his targeted field a few years after graduation (after a CV review and application and interview support he was successful in gaining a competitive internship in his chosen area).
  • An individual facing redundancy and uncertain over whether to accept an alternative role in the organisation or to take a redundancy package.

Outplacement Support

Baynham Consulting offers a flexible and responsive service tailored to individual needs and organisational budget and provides support from director level to junior roles. Services can be provided on a individual or workshop basis.

The duration and level of support is discussed and agreed with the sponsoring organisation and typically includes elements from the following areas:
